Casting Yu Bin as Wen Ning was the most perfect selection, as well as letting him sing the character's song. Yu Bin's outer personality is sweet and cute, same as his sweet soft voice. However, his inner self is mixed with a little bit of darker side (hot, sexy and adventurous), very much like Wen Ning.

this may not have subtitles but i already read the english translation so this made me cry. i really love wen ning's character. he was always there for master wei, when no one was. he protected him with all his heart and still came back to him after 16 years. but ofc, he shouldn't be following him all his life. that part where he left with sizhui was heartbreaking, but at least he tries to find his own path in life.
