This is one character who is most relatable and completely human. He had no other aspirations other than loving his near and dear ones and living a happy life... Wang zuocheng majored in musical when he was in university, others like xiao zhan and wang yibo had been idol before, liu haikuan plays lots of instruments, he's a singer too, xuan lu(shi jie), zhu zanjin(jing guangyao), song jiyang(xxc) are professional dancers as well, the cast are so much as a group of talented, versatile people lol

Jiang Cheng is one of the most tragic characters in the Untamed. He is so misunderstood that it's unfair - at least WWX's sacrifice for Jiang Cheng was eventually exposed and people admire him but Jiang Cheng's sacrifice for WWX remained a secret. He lost his 'core' because he allowed himself to get caught to save WWX and he NEVER told anyone about the pain he endure for his love for his brother. I wish it was in the script that Jiang Cheng's sacrifice was eventually made known - at the very least WWX should know. They do love each other fiercely as true brothers but it's sad to see them be apart.

His parents and clan killed only in a night and next His older sister Yanli and Older brother Wei Wuxian died also same time. He is a misunderstood character. I like Jiang cheng but of course I feel hurt when he can't help his brother Wei ying I also got angry with him but still I understood that he was a young sect leader that time and lots of pressure and also Wen Qing died even if he doesn't show it, he loves her and he was hurt too and even refused to get married in the end while his brother is happily married to Lan zhan. He is forever SINGLE like iIe Huasiang. I know my reply is late but I just want to express my thoughts ☺

Jian Cheng es realmente un personaje admirable, no anhelaba sueños más allá de los que les pertenecían, sufrió, y perdió todo pero supo levantarse y continuar adelante siendo un líder joven y respetado. Es verdad que muchas de las decisiones que tomó no eran buenas y pudo hacerlo mejor pero para una persona joven, que de un día para otro perdió más de lo que podía y que sin estar completamente preparado debía asumir una responsabilidad tan grande creo que lo hizo bien. Es verdad que Wei Ying no merecía aquel trato tan malo que sufrió pero Jian Cheng tampoco, Wei Ying le entregó su núcleo pero Jian Cheng lo perdió para salvarlo, eso demuestra que ambos tenía un amor y hermandad tan fuerte como para sacrificarse entre ellos para salvar al otro. Cada uno escogió caminos diferentes pero ambos se amaban igual, el odio ciega y nubla el corazón pero la luz que los guía sigue ahí y en algún momento los hará recordar el trato del pasado donde ambos se consideraban familia. Me habría gustado ver como hacen las pases y demuestran que ambos se equivocaron y perdieron pero que pueden ganar y aunque no sea como antes pueden continuar siendo hermanos y vivir.

I cannot hate him for WWX really did it since he said that he can control but ended up killing Jin Zixuan and whereas his sister afterwards. Jiang Cheng wanted to kill him but not intended to literally stab him so he can go to hell. He stabbed the stone instead of WWX in the cliff cu'z there's still a piece of love of him for WWX. When they meet, u can actually see the pain, anguish, love and separation in his eyes. He wanted to say something and hug him after all that happened but he can't. His pain and grievances still hold him back. However, the author of the novel did said that Jiang Cheng is one of the top people who really cared for him afterall. A-xian's sacrifice was revealed but A-cheng's own sacrifice for his brother is not revealed and will never be. He has something to say to him. Something that he wanted to hug and say let's get it back together but he can't. Poor A-cheng. If only A-li is here

I love Jiang Cheng and get a sting of sadness everytime i think about him. He lost literally everything and even himself at the end and yet, i can't see a different ending for him. He loved everyone and wanted to protect them, he had expectations to fill and a legacy to continue, both as uncle and sect leader. He was constantly put into positions he didn't want yet he was forced to fill. Looking at the decisions he made, i don't know if i could've acted differently and that's what makes him so tragic. I can't see his story coming to a different ending...

Jiang Cheng is one of the best characters in The Untamed !! To me all the cast members have a lot of meaning ~ I just love this drama so much because every single character brought something to make this huge, not only Wei Ying and Lan Zhan, but all. I wish more people supported all the cast T~T

All I can say is that I loved the series of the Untamed; from the story, to its characters wang zhua or Jiang cheng was so necessary and I loved seeing the character grow and become someone even while WWX was gone. I do have to admit I listen to the soundtrack of the Untamed so much, and since they don’t really sing too often I was surprised at his voice. He is so amazing; and if anyone has what else he is in I thank you greatly. Parting, what does it make you think of?

The lyrics to this song is heartbreaking. The first time I heard it I cried like a baby. JC's story is heart-wrenching. Losing so much while only a teenager, and thrusted into a position of authority and responsibility so young, vulnerable and exposed to manipulations that ultimately lost him his loving siblings.
