@@kwong9341 If I am not mistaken in recent chinese history revolutions were staged in southern part of China - which is closer to Hong Kong and learned from Hong Kong's more westernized culture influences, which is of course a no-no for the CCP who cry foul about western democracy influences as negative foreign ideology invasion in spite of historical facts all proven democracy improve social moral, promote law abiding, and strengthen economy, and definitely better than communism and/or dictatorship combined, yet the CCP ignored all the social and natural and CCP induced disasters leading to massive innocent life lost, since 1949, by also a foreign ideology brought on by the USSR who had invaded china lands and killing of defenseless chinese people since the Qing dynasty and more
@@sunday6099 diversity in chinese culture should be preserved and allowed to evolve with the times, naturally, by the people, without any artificial limitation and restriction by the all-seeing, all-controlling, yet all-competent ccp who have foul up so much since 1949.

I’m a Chinese teacher, and your video is really eye-opening. I never had the opportunity to learn Cantonese, and I hope I can learn some from your informative videos. Thanks a million!

You should give it a try, it's a very musical language. Out of the 6 tones, 4 of them are flat tones, but has high and low pitch, so you're basically singing as you speak.

@@ericluk68 Your reply to other viewer is very impolite. I can read write Chinese very well . The only thing is my 小蒙恬 is out of order. Therefore I also have to leave comments here in Chinese
I grew up knowing only Cantonese and English. I came to HK in 2008 and I was told I wasn’t “Chinese enough” because I didn’t (and still don’t) speak mandarin This video makes me feel proud about my Cantonese heritage 💪💪💪
