いつも興味深く拝見しております。 ひとるお聞きしたいのですが、この縫い方の裏側はどうなっているのでしょうか？ 床面にも糸が出ているのか、あるいは革の厚みの中だけに留まっているのか、そこが知りたいです。 不躾に恐縮ですが、よろしくお願いします。

コメントありがとうございます。 この縫いは床面に糸が出ているタイプです。 ですので、失敗しない簡単な縫い方になります。 床面側に出た糸の上には薄く漉いた革を貼ることでカバーし補強しています。
