@ Mogoes, I always feel proud of your job and efforts to create a reasonable discussion. It is not far to see the good fruits of"buffet of ideas " Berata wendimachin. @ Dr Yonas, thank you, Sir.

Very fruitful and constructive discussion! This is exactly what we 🇪🇹need to be able to move on to the next step. We have tried to sweep sensitive issues under the rug. It is time to discuss what all politicians and academics could have done differently. It is NOW or NEVER if they will come to a solution together. Thank you both! Moges, Great job!
I agree in most ideas and perspectives vof Dr. Yonas Biru. Thanks both of you.

Indeed great discussions and reflections on the current Ethiopian politics and political actors. Moges, you’re an intelligent and solid professional and Dr Yonas is as always a critical, pragmatic and honest analyst with an incredible depth of knowledge and understanding of Ethiopian and global political economy

Dr. Yonas, I totally agree with you. You spoke what is in my mind and became a voice for me. Jawar is equally responsible with Abiy Ahmed for the chaos in this country Thanks you
I am re-listening to the conversation as I was multitasking. Here are the key takeaways: 1. Jowar should publicly acknowledge the missteps of the past. 2. There should be an acknowledgment of the false Oromo narrative, which contradicts their own intellectual historian, Dr. Mohammed. 3. He can then build a constituency based on truth. 4. He will earn more credibility among non-Oromo groups. 5. Is Jowar ready to do the right thing?

ጆዋር is on the right track; and still he cannot be given carte blanche. ገና ብዙ ጥያቄዎችን with consistency መመለስ ይቀረዋል።
@@Blg48 Wake up and think critically. You've been misled by a false narrative. Even Jawar himself heading to stop supporting this perspective. It's time to question and analyze.

Independent analysis at its best. Dr's statement, "...Sositu yeEthiopia Poletika Neqersawoch - the so called political elites from AM, OR, and TG,..." nails the head in the Ethiopian political discourse. Thank you Dr. Yonas and the host.
Thanks so much Dr, Yunase !!!!! Realy you have explained clearly based on thruth evidence of the current ethnic issues of Ethiopia Thanks very much again!!!!

As always Mr. Yonas thank you for your excellent analysis and explanations. Moges as well for hosting Mr. Yonas.
I followed Jawar like Dr Yonas for a long time. One thing consistent I observed about Jawar is he wrote and spoke about a democratic Ethiopia that serves us all equally is what he believes in. But, I agree with Dr Yonas, as a politician he is fluid and his political calculus swings. But, that is not a problem for me. I agree with Dr Yonas, Jawar has his share in creating the chaos Ethiopia is in today.

I can witness Dr. Yonas Birru has Orderly and efficiently explained everything not only about Suspicious criminal Jawar, but also about the so-called Geda and Oro-Muma philosophy, which is a philosophy of robbing, killing, eliminating others who either do not speak their language or do not look like them. I wish Moges was able to ask the suspicious criminal Jawar such a challenging question during his last interview time with him. Dr. Yonas again, I would love to say, "Excellent job!". Thanks!

True. He already lost his credibility due to many mistakes he made.

Do you have any evidence to accuse Jawar for any crime he has committed? Jawar stood up against chauvinist and the so-called ethiopianist elite who campaigned and supported Abiy to wage wars against Tigray until the signing of the Pretoria peace agreement. Dr Yonas et al. (aka Amhara chauvinist) are dreaming eradicating Oromo and reverting to the old feudal system, which is an unattainable goal. Dr Yonas falsely defamaming Gada system of slavery which is contrary to the core principles of Gada system . He even cannot pronounce Gada system, a UNESCO registered intangible cultural heritage. Moges being a multilingual Ethiopianist tried to correct his guest.

Moges, keep the good track of Ethiopia's core political arguments! በርታ!
Jawar’ s changed the approach based on the situation on the ground . He might be in assessment and understanding fall of current regime is eminent as a lot of things are beyond control due to Armed forces , economic and govt initiated crisis. His deep down / political instincts not transformed. Because of the points above he just getting him self situated to be part of the reform
There's something hidden in Moges's Ethiopianism. When it comes to Oromuma he is a bit sensitive. It's very simple for Jawar to be clear about what he believes about Oromumas history in Ethiopia .

As a sworn enemy of Oromo, feel free to celebrate or be depressed about what you think Jawar or Abiy and their followers are or aren’t. Main stream Oromo’s will never rest until justice, democracy, and people’s will prevail in Oromia!
