@@dazzi8066 Thank you for your elaboration and clarification. As a Chinese student studying in the UK, I've met many Koreans here, and they've all been extremely friendly. While I'm not into K-pop, I can definitely feel the positive impact it has had on the image of East Asians globally. I believe the Chinese aversion to conglomerates (chaebols) stems from our education, given that China is a socialist country (despite its capitalistic tendencies in recent years, the core principles haven't changed). Just like North Korea, from a young age, we're educated about the harms of capitalism. Similarly, due to the liberal education received in South Korea, it's understandable why many there might have an inherent distaste for single-party authoritarian governments like that of China or North Korea. From my perspective, be it the absolute rule of a single-party system or the deep-state presence of chaebols, both are manifestations of the dominance of the upper class. Please don't be overly concerned about the comments on Weibo; it tends to be a toxic platform where almost everyone gets criticized. However, as you've observed, I also believe that the communication between our countries stagnated after the THAAD incident, leading to a lot of misinformation and stereotypes among the general public in both nations. Indeed, even though I feel that the Chinese and Koreans share many character traits, the solidarity among Koreans, evident from events like the 1992 LA riots and the 1998 financial crisis donations, stands out. The relatively smaller population and confined geography of Korea also bring about certain challenges not seen in China. For instance, the rise of modern feminism leading to gender conflicts is present in China, but its impact is more pronounced in Korea due to the country's size and demographics. Korea's current president seems to have won largely by capitalizing on these issues. I hope for a bright future for both our nations.

@@svendai4658oh Thank you for the kind and relatable comments🥰That's right! I studied abroad in Italy last year, too and that time I realized that asian is most reliable. I couldnt understand the negative thoughts about Korean conglomerates in China, but I understand when I see your comment. yes There is too much wrong information in both countries😂I also agree that we share many personality traits. I hope the relationship between the two countries improves, too. Thank you for the nice comments!❤

Hello 小Lin, I have been following your videos and really appreciate the insights and have been sharing your videos with my friends who can understand Chinese. Just a thought - perhaps you could also do an episode on Singapore (which is another Asian economic 'miracle') and Lee Kuan Yew, which I imagine you will also find quite interesting...
