Very useful topics, thank you Maggie. One of the strategies I'm using is keep asking people open-end questions, then ask the next question based on their answers. The trick is to keep them busy talking about themselves as I'm not very good at talking about day-to-day life topics (don't watch TV, don't watch Netflix, don't use social media).
Per the employer arranged, I am transferred from China to Boston since Last October, the conversion within the job is ok for me, but always be out of questions for daily life. Maggie's video is awesome, plan to do dictation first and then do oral speaking following the videos, wish me good luck. BTW, tell me I am not the only one who likes Maggie's videos most. :)

Hi Maggie, your skin is beautiful; your face is lovely and your smile is so sweet. Don’t even think of making your face narrower. (Please correct me if there are any grammatical errors in my writing.) Thank you very much!

How to use “ain’t “ ?
@dtdasap62213 жыл бұрын
You don't use ain't in writing, it is grammatically not that correct to use ain't. However, it's not uncommon to hear that in daily life. Some people just use it out of bad habits, some use it once every blue moon to emphasize what they are saying. More black people use it in general.

you constantly find yourself in a situation where you are simply out of questions to ask. you constantly find yourself having no questions to ask. 英语总喜欢把简单事情复杂话。 中文是喜欢把复杂事情简单话。
Very well said. Sounds like some teenager talks to me.
