@@reynaicer2931 : Yes , 70/100 of Chinese in China their living are not good , but form the conversation can tell this guy their living in China seems quite will , I just not agree is the way they use of try for stay down in Canada .
I love this video and admire your guests. They clearly know what they are leaving behind and what they want in their new life. I would love to see a follow up interview in a year or so to see how well they settle down in Canada. Now that you guys are free to say whatever you believe in, I hope Oscar can set up his own Channel or social media page. I am looking forward to watching Oscar's videos in the future. I think Oscar will be a great presenter!! He is a real man with courage and integrity!!
I have lived in Canada for 30+ years, originally from HK. Although I haven't lived in China before, I feel that Canada is becoming a scary place. I have had a good career, was a director for one of the largest companies in Canada but our whole department got laid off last year and I haven't been able to find comparable work. Things are getting so expensive, my mortgage almost doubled, it is starting to feel very hopeless. In some circumstances it is also dangerous to voice your opinions... Now I'm trying to find opportunities in East or SE Asia, similar to other past colleagues. I haven't experienced living in other countries without "democracy", but I feel at this point I'm willing to trade that for financial stability for my family. Irregardless, I hope everyone finds happiness wherever they end up ❤
Whatever you do, do not choose to live in China or Hong Kong. It's really hard to describe how suffocating that environment is in terms of personal freedoms. I say this as someone who grew up/live in America and went to china for a few weeks to visit family.
@@无敌勇者-u6o : In my opinion in the last 20 to 30 years 70 % of Chinese leave for China just for looking a better life , is not for freedom or human rights , I met lots of mainland Chinese , more than 1/2 ( over 45 years old ) of them they reckon China is much better than the western in many place , like had ( bullet train , faster and cheaper food delivery - - - - - - - ) they also proud of their young kids have more after school learning class just like when they lived in China ! Most of them still lived in a ( Mainland Chinese ) pattern , even they had left China for a long times !
