thats right there mate, i agree..Sadly its just the way it is now. When i was growing up Mtv was the shit cause it'd play so much underground stuff as well as the mainstream stuff but at least you could navigate yourself towards decent record labels. Now its on the internet its harder to find stuff so praise be KEXP indeed and others like it.

@Jesus Christ I see what you mean, but I dig it - to me it sounds like recent instrumental bands who aspire to make "library" or soundtrack music, which is consciously generic and cheesy. A bit like Stereophonic Space Sound Unlimited or Calibro 35, and I'm fine with that.

Saw them last Saturday on Best Kept Secret 2022. Incredible what a vibe. They speeded up time sadly enough. The gig could have lasted forever and nobody would’ve complained.
