@@猫の餌 I don’t know if it’s because the maintenance for Schindler elevators in Japan is bad or there are models for the Japanese market only that are faulty and tend to malfunction. Schindler elevators in Singapore are not known for breaking down often. In Singapore, the company “Express Lifts Limited” from the UK made some of the elevators for housing flats built by the government in the 1960s and 1970s and they had higher breakdown rates. @@elevatorfilmersg Software issues on Schindler's 90s lifts in Japan meant that the lifts could move with their doors open. This killed someone in 2006(search for Minato Ward elevator incident) and Schindler's reputation in Japan tanked after that, with basically no one being interested in buying their lifts. It didn't help that the same thing happened again in 2012. Apparently Fujitec made the logic for the 300Js, not sure if that applies to other models though.
