夫妻兩個人暫時冇小朋友，係倫敦Zone 5 租屋住兩房，揸Golf GTi，所有使費加加埋埋，鬆動啲嘅話，預2500-2800磅一個月啦⋯⋯ 老實講，係度已經11個月，我哋都預作喺英國搵唔到咩高收入嘅工做啦，暫時唯有靠香港有層樓收租，加埋之前儲落嘅小小錢，慢慢捱下啦⋯⋯等遲D習慣佐呢度，睇下邊度適合居住，再賣埋香港間屋，揀嘅城市買樓住落去⋯⋯港人來英國最好睇定D再買樓，太早買佐住落先發覺，果度周邊環境唔係好適合，再換就好麻煩。最好用一年時間去習慣。

Boiler service IS a must. I live in this house, okay it's quite big, and the house age is 58 years old. And when we bought this house, the heating is a warm air system, we carried on having the same heating system. The boiler we have is quite an old one, almost the same age of this house. We live in this house for 25 years. We have the boiler service yearly and the boiler is still working perfect. So people should not avoid not having it service even they think their boiler is fairly new. Imagine the dust that collected around the fan inside. It's just like car, computer, a year can have a dust bunny living inside. Just my 2 pennies worth.

你們好,我住Newcastle upon Tyne. 去Market 買疏菜水果平好多.Supermarket 買成隻鳼較平,用水如果不太多,可选meter 用幾多計幾多,如果多可以一間屋为單位.Boiler 可選用全年保用,包舊換新, 水喉Central Heating. 各种燕梳最好每年都去不同公司Quote 價.

If compare shopping in supermarket which definitely cheaper than in HK, but don't forget all the rest ie TV licence fee, water, electrical n gas bill, council tax etc. The killing cos to of transportation if u only got one car in n UK, also if it do no to owe a house, u will be okay if u earn the same amount as in HK after tax, if not then God bless you la.

There is a grammar school in Bury but its really an independent fee school, heard its not bad though. There is good area and bad area in Bury, I know this sounds cliche but for this kind of off the city older town, you will need to pick your area. Also another point to consider is, if you are going to work in Manchester, it's going to take sometimes for the travel.

It's cheaper in Manchester! Then living down south! Kids costs are cheaper as not many extracurricular activities. School uniforms are much more expensive for secondary schools in UK! Secondary schools have school trips abroad that are very expensive. Bus services to school can be very expensive!

You hasn’t talk about NHS, unless you are holding a British citizenship, otherwise for those with BNO will have to pay a fee upfront. And also if you live within London areas, cost will be higher too.
