我住過tonbridge兩年，所以都會成日tunbridge wells, sevenoaks，個邊環境係舒服，但會比較難搵工，樓都唔算平，起碼三百幾萬港幣，所以之後我搬左去近reading既basingstoke,呢度多factory production, distribution centre,岩晒我呢d黎左英國幾年英文土身土長口音既香港人，因為我唔想做對客既工，我上年係到置左業，3房排屋，有花園，香港二百三萬，我每月供七千港幣，我係一間DC做pick& pack三年，工作簡單無咩壓力，唔執錯貨就ok, reading個邊我都成日去行街，reading多好既學校，工作多office 工，英文無返咁上下好難見到office工，呢區最方便有間大華人超市，我覺得如果好似我咁想搵份工廠工簡簡單單，英文又唔係好勁，樓又唔係好貴，但地方都安全舒服，可以考慮我呢區，我呢區搭火車去london 一個鐘15mins,我幾年前同我老公由香港移居過黎英國，我地無人無物係呢邊，最初係租shareroom住左兩年幾，希望我既經歷比到大家做reference,仲有最好係香港考埋車牌先過英國，英國考車同筆試難好多，因為我老公黎到先學車，所以我知道係難d

請問如果做pick& pack的話，人工和工時如何?...如果英文不夠好的話，選擇去咖啡店沖咖啡是否都可行?...Basingstoke好像也不錯，不像倫敦物價比較貴，Basingstoke是否比較多工作機會?

I think for HK people, don't buy a house or flat in a hurry. UK is big. I think you better rent a flat or house and then find out do you like the area first. If you have children you have to do some homework. Your children can go to school near where you live. Your children have to pass exam to get into Grammar school or private school. In general, property price near good school tends to cost you more. In Uk, people will move house to area where good school locate in order to get their children into those schools. In particular London, houses and flats are in big demand in good schools. Houses can be expensive around those area.

to be honest the whole of UK is excellent for education / out of london the houses is better for value & quite or lots of countryside , towns & larger village have very good school for under 16s

Good choice. Nice place to live with plenty of shops and a few Chinese stores dotted about. Got some good public schools too and some private ones too. Nice open spaces too if you like an evening stroll. Some estates are best avoided such as Fishermead, Newton Leys and Netherfield. Crime rates are a bit iffy in those listed. Links to London is ok from MK. You got MK central station with trains into London Euston which is zone 1 and the motorway which will take you all the way to London too. Hope this will help you out a bit ✌️

我 1975年去英國讀中學再入大學。我唔覺得我俾人“蝦”，因為佢地嘅文化就喺咁！高年班哥哥一定會“蝦”低年班嘅弟弟！我唔使幫大哥哥洗牛仔褲和搽鞋。啲大哥哥嘅牛仔褲着成個月先洗，洗時成盤水都喺黑色的。我讀嗰間中學喺私校，英女皇都去 visit 過和頒 OBE 俾校長。我去嘅喺蘇格蘭，民風很好。我覺得香港人好叻嘅，根本唔使驚。只要你光明正大，冇人會“蝦”到你。如果乜都驚，就最好唔好移民，因為外國唔啱你！其實我個人覺得讀中學時，大哥哥“蝦”我地，老師和舍監唔知道嗎？非也，我覺得他們喺俾機會我們學習忍耐，學習怎樣求生。下下都有父母在傍邊，點樣獨立？當時有個低年班嘅鬼仔，他父親喺當期時香港匯豐銀行大班，一樣要自己一個人坐飛機去蘇格蘭返學。在香港時，我去過佢屋企食飯，佢父母喺度時就用刀叉，父母唔喺屋企我們就用筷子！佢“莊”飯俾我時，喺用雙手俾飯碗俾我，宜家嘅香港人做得到嗎？

Hi , When you decide to come to England to live, when you buy a property you have to check the laws in England, otherwise if you died your love one may have to pay a lots inheritance tax to the government , =Jobs : you have to pay 20% of your wages to National insurance and income tax every months =Your personal health insurance =your family's health insurance =car petrol and car insurance Jobs are not easy to fine at the moment, we do have a lots of young professionals English people looking for jobs , they are hard working too.

不只Miltin Keynes 的新屋邨，房子的牆太單薄，加上每年d service charge ，每年至少2千以上，又多新移民。 有Chinese 的地方，就多是非，見過鬼怕黑。 其實區域住慣便可，反正現在的英國，已經不像以前打開門和鄰居歡談了。(間中有兩三伙吧) 日常生活中做獨家村，有須要才出去 應酬下，也未嘗不可。

First 3 choices are too expensive areas. Nottingham and Liverpool are not safe, lots of social behaviour issues and high rape rates. I will recommend Southampton as I do not require to travel to London and I do not require chinatown to visit frequently. Filled up ur survey form but nobody contact me for about a week.

近倫敦 我會選擇 Epping,Rainham, Bexleyheath, Bromley, New Malden, Borehamwood, St Albans, Potters Bar 等， 5百萬到7百萬已經好多選擇。 片主可能好似我咁唔係太鍾意倫敦內生活可能比較雜，我上面講既地方會無倫敦咁繁忙，但亦方便交通去倫敦，環境係英國算中上，適合香港人聚居。 我住英國十幾年住過幾個大城市，片講5個地方都去過，有d仲要好多次。 Liverpool, Nottingham 治安比較差，學生住都OK。 如果無3百萬Milton Kenyes係非常唔錯，因為係一個規模城市，全部路唔係直就橫，同好多迴旋處，一定需要車出入，環境都好OK！
