It seems someone may be trying really hard for Y&R to go down the drain. The storylines speaks quite loud in making sure of it. They know if Victor is written off the end of the soap is sure. Didn't they try to write Nicki out some years ago? Those 2 are the foundation of the show. You can get rid of almost anyone except those 2.

I think the show will lose a lot of fans if Victor leave the show. Eric can act his mannerisms is just perfect for playing Victor. I like the fact of the storyline of victors illness. Bringing back the older characters into play has made it much more appealing to me. It was starting to lose my interest but now it has peaked again. The old familiar characters or like having your family with you and that’s what makes watching the show so popular. WOW! There would not be a Young and Restless if Eric Braeden is not in the cast. Victor Newman IS THE show! I must admit, when I first looked at the Y & R soap, I said this is a no show because they had this old men playing Victor! However, after watching the soap progress, he is the linchpin that is the Young and restless! When Victor goes, so will the end of the show! He cannot be replaced! Just watch and see!

Oh, well the man is what he is, powerful and he gives a powerful performance every time he is on screen. That what I like about him, he's that no-nonsense kind of guy. He has to get those knot-heads together, one way or the other. So, writers start writing a script for him that allows him to do just that and bring his family back together, and give him and Nikki some down time together instead of always burning up the screen with Kyle and Lola who can't do a love scene right. Let someone use some of that time they are not veterans characters. Summer has been on the show longer than Lola and show have more romance time with Kyle. Why did you kick her to the curb so quickly after she donated part of her liver to Lola? They should have been a little more time for her and Kyle to be together as husband and wife. We should have been allowed to see Kyle really show her how much he appreciated her for helping Lola, and Lola should have been more appreciated that she has a life thanks to Summer. Summer got a rotten deal, it wasn't her idea to marry it was Kyle's and he should be made honor his commitment to her instead of the ass that he is.

I don't like the illness plot. They need to find some other way to get the show back up and running other than Victor being sick the way they have him. I don't like that at all, Victor is and always will be front and center they just need to find other ways of going about it. No more jail time for him he needs to be where he can do all that he has to do in the free world, especially when it pertains to his family. He got to get those two knotheads of his to learn to respect each other boundaries and family. No more going from this one ex-wife to this one's ex-girlfriend. They have been too much of that already on both shows, it's sickening. Get out of the family and find yourself a woman or a man. Once you marry or enter a relationship with that person in that family then you're off limits to him or her brother or sister. In other words, stop crossing the line. That's nasty anyway and it causes too many problems any and the viewers get confused on who dating who and who is sleeping with who or who is married to who. Let's simplify things for a change and see how that works if it doesn't then go back to the way they were. Right now this is a new age, so let's just see where this takes us. Shall we.
