You’ve captured something words cannot describe. I am in awe and have deep respect for the people of Japan, how you have always recognized the interconnection of spirituality and nature. This moved me tremendously and honestly, your videos are helping me to stay sane right now. You are an artist and story teller. Deep bow from the U.S. 🙏🏻

Thank you so much for your posts, it brings joy to my spirit, love the spiritual, cultural beauty of your country that shines through your vidz they are such a blessing to me, always brings a smile to my face. Bless you Anna Film Production for your awesome care for the environment when videoing the landscape, so breathtakingly beautiful and spectacular 🥰💕. You create unspoken words that filtrate our every essence, you magically taking into the trees of Takamoridonnosugi as if I'm flying amongst the branches, and then into the farming areas as if I'm standing on the side of the road watching them bail hay, and each step towards and around Kamishikimi Kumano-imasu Shrine is for me such an exhilaration of peace, spiritual, and looking for what it is speaking to ones heart. Thank you so much 🥰💕

@@annafilmproduction1143 THANK YOU!!! 💙 I ended up doing 4 straight shifts, but at least with the 3rd shift the other two work colleagues from the other team allowed me to go home and be on call for any urgent calls, I only got called out once [thankgoodness lol]. And when my shifts and days at work get like that [which is often] sitting watching your vids are truly a blessing to my spirituality, body, mind, mauri and mana [these to Māori words are hard to explain in english words - sorry]. 💙
Wow.....are you kidding me.......absolutely amazing. You have a little bit of everything in this one. The scenery, the landscapes, the farmland. All amazing. Even that little out building by the side of the road looked perfect. And of course the hidden gem tucked away in the hills and forest above the city. That path to that volcano and everything around it just looks amazing. Even the sky looks perfect. What an amazing journey. Thanks for sharing. In my opinion I think this one of your finest presentations. Please keep up the great work you do. Stay safe.

As always, I really appreciate your point of view. The sublime beauty of Japan is truly majestic and you always seem to capture ephemeral moments of pure magic. Once again, the cinematography, pace, editing, score, all seem to harmonise effortlessly into your distinct style of visual poetry. Thank you for sharing. Honto ni subarashī bideo. I want to visit 上色見熊野座神社, but I don't dare to go alone. I really like 砂千里, when I went there, it seems that I had not been on the earth. In your camera, the volcano becomes more magnificent.

This shrine and Mount Aso are my two favorite places in the whole wide world. I would go there every summer because just being there in that forest surrounded in that greenery made me feel like a totally brand new human being by the time I would leave.....This summer because of corona and the flooding in Kumamoto I was not able to go and my heartaches so badly 😭 Thank you so much for posting this beautiful video! I hope before this year ends I can make my pilgrimage

Your travels inspire research, so I now know that the stone beasts guarding the entrance to the shrines are called Komainu. They’ve certainly done a good job over the centuries in preserving the tranquillity inside that you convey so well. It’s a tranquillity disturbingly broken by the volcano! Are those fumes innocuous, or worryingly smelly?

Absolutely stunning scenery Anna, thank you for another amazing video. I felt so small and insignificant compared to nature, both in the forest and near the volcano. Many of the Japanese in Hawaii came from Kumamoto including my family. It is somewhere I fully intend to visit in the future. Thanks again Anna!
