You need to insulate your ground floor (between the floor joist) and insulate your external walls to make your house more thermally efficient. Maybe add a chimney damper, too, if you are not using the gas fire. Call your council building control for more advice.
Actually I also reduce my standard and not too frequently cleaning. Because I feel tired. 👍

Hi, Coco & Yannes, Glad your family has already settled down in UK. I prefer living in a house over an apartment because it is more spacious and I don't have to pay condo fees. BTW, I like Yannes a lot because she looks so elegant and pretty. Best wishes for a bright future and a happy life for your family in the UK.
wait till you are 60-70+... Probably you will hate going up and down the stairs and you will feel cleaning is a pain! Than you find living in a flat is so much better.

@tk-rc1jwn the UK, it’s called a bungalow. Lots of elderly people install stairlifts to move around different floors.

Need no worry, by the time he reach that age, he already change houses 3or 4 times.😂😂😂😂😂😂
I used to lived in a 3 level condo. Our garage is in ground lvl . and the 2ed floor is the main living and entry way. and half lvl is a guest room and the kitchen and dining. and the 3ed lvl is 3 bedroom. We have elderly living with us so we decided to move and buy a single level house. The best decision ever made because we don't need to walk up and down the stairs. I think I'll grow old in my house. :) Best thing is the robot vac can clean the whole house in one lvl. Get a mini and Giant Schnauzer and they are our best guard dog for security .
Hi CocoGor, I tried to open an IB account using your link but it kept telling me that the investment proved does not meet the requirements to trade stock. I only started learning how to trade US stocks/ETFs 2 years ago with about 25 trades a year with limited knowledge. Is that why I can’t continue with the application? Please advise. Thanks!
