About the installation. Not flow direction but orientation. is it important to install this filter in horizontal pipe as in this example or it will work the same in vertical pipe too?

Nice informative one, can someone explain how to design Y strainer for 10,000 psi pressure for 2 inch pipe. Which code to follow, how to ensure min thickness for internal pressure? For pipe ASME B31.3 is based on OD, if we have ID fixed how to find min thk?
