They’re from Northern California and I was a teenager I seen him in Hollywood California they were called yesterday and today and then change the name to Y&T and I agree they’re one of the greatest bands they got left behind do you have to see him life and you would know what I mean Dave Meniketti is still doing it today

I was in 6th grade in ‘83, my older brother walks into my room one afternoon and hands me this album and said “I saw them last night at The Oasis Ballroom (Sacramento) they’re INCREDIBLE…..LEARN IT!” I was hooked and Leonard Haze was now a main influence on my drumming.

He and Sammy were and are good friends, so they definitely have influenced each other. I’ve heard VanHagar vocals that had Dave’s phrasing and vocal texture as well. Mutual respect.
