@@waikwongip6153. Fantastic ! Its cost must be covered by the monthly maintenance fee . Here in northern Midwest , USA , we pay our heating for our individual condo-unit . We have gas heating and the cost is reasonable and one of the lowest among the mid-size cities in the nation . Some do the heating with electric and its cost is ok . Either electric or gas , the cost is much lower than that of in UK . 🙂☕️🥨

Don't forget that external garden or garage copper water pipes and taps need to be insulated too during freezing weather. Another effective way of keeping your own body heat is to sandwich a real silk scarf between your base layer and underwear. Place it around your shoulder and chest area to stop it from moving around too much. Otherwise, tie it around your waist loosely will be good too. Silk scarf can be washed with 1 tiny drop of shampoo and warm water easily.

在加拿大,美國也是相同, 牆身兩層,兩層牆身之間, 有一層保温棉,玻璃窗兩層, 落雪,很冰凍,攝氏零下20度 保温內衣衭襪heattech,在Uniqlo有售. 加拿大魁北克quebec省冬天, 攝氏零下35度.也有很多香港人.

I am started living at UK since 1984. Honestly nowadays winter is much warmer than used to. May be I can add some extra points on top of yours.... Nowadays most of the properties over UK got double glazing already so I don't think this need to be concern.... Heating system is better using gas rather than electricity. Also not really need those special control as you recommended cos most of the gas central heating control they are allow you on and off a few different period every-day so if you are out for work or school then you can just set those time heating is off. Also set the temperature around 18°c is the best. Not necessary wear those special under wear just those normal thermal may warm enough. You can find it at most supermakerts between £10 to £20 not expensive. Keep using hot water bottle too often then this may cos you never can improve you body to Cope with low temperature.... Drink hot chocolate, coffee also can giving you energy. Hope this may also help most you people.....
