Ah, back when the 305 extended from Key West to north of Orlando…again, thanks for the memories Dave!

I noticed that too while editing the video, how things have changed. Alan Rock could be heard on Miami radio back in the mid sixties. At that time WMBM FM was programing jazz and Alan was a big part of the operation. Just before his retirement in Orlando, Alan's jazz show was heard on WUCF-FM. Great to hear from you Al and happy you're still enthusiastic about broadcasting.

Well, I’m actually shutting down operations on my part 15 AM station here in NJ and moving it down to our new property…we are moving to Boca sometime during September…hopefully will be restarting it there in the near future.

Alan Rock is actually Alan Brady. Rick Sailor is Rick Stacy now at WOCL.

I think they had Alice, the cleaning lady running audio that night.

Yes, Alice and the rest of the crew had a rough night. I worked with a guy that was an audio tech employed by one of the major attractions. Before every show the mic batteries were replaced by new one's. He would bring the old one's into work for us to take home and they were all fully charged. To add to the confusion the host from the radio station would, on occasion, direct from the floor. An example appears at the 4 minute 20 second mark in the video. Thanks for watching and responding Tom.
