What a joy to reminisce about Abraham's story. Thank you all Christ's family there. I’m so GLAD that he is weaning Suboxone. That’s so important to come off in healthy way. He can stay on 1 for long time, then half for long time, then off. This way it will work to come off for good. The practical examples of real life are super helpful Titus. Like letting someone in traffic in front of you, or a child letting someone else use the swing first . Oh and doing the dishes when someone else can use a break.

I want brother Russel to know that I am praying for him and I have been there myself and I am proud of him for getting his meds down to 1!!! That is not easy because most dr.’s don’t try to ween you down and it’s something you have to want to do on your own if you don’t want to remain a slave. Just keep your eye on the Lord and He will remove that and He did it for me and I know He will do it for you! I appreciate your honesty and by involving everyone by confessing it you brought it into the light and satan cannot work in the light. God bless you brother! I’m praying for you Russel!! To the fellow at the start I hear you brother.i think his name is Russell. I'm a 26 years Herron and cracked addict.i ended up with phenomena Oct 18th 2022 I was given 24hrs long story short. Spoke to a priest through him I asked the lird your will be done if you want me. With 2 3 days I was in recovery ward in ICU still. A week later General ward praying 🙏 the name of jesus. I truly Believe he saved me that day .but I come out and used straight away for a few months. What a twat. Now I use every now and then i feel your pain keep praying 🙏 and reading his word. I should do more of jesus will set us both free. 🙏 amen

Titus what is an idol. I am the understanding that an idol is object that you worship not when you take you medicine routinely the same way daily. In Bible it says a idol is a statue or image. I'm confused ???

Yes, you're right, an Idol in Bible times was usually a statue that they would worship instead of God, or alongside God. But Jesus said that we should love God with all our heart... (Matthew 22:37-38) Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. So today, a lot of us don't have physical status that we worship. But anything that we put higher than God, or as high as God in importance, is our Idol/Idols. What we do or think first thing in the morning as we wake up, can show us what one of our Idol is. It can be our phone, or anything else besides God, like in Russell's example, if the thing most important for you in the morning is your medicine or coffee, then that's more important to you than God. (Exodus 20:3-6) 3Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Actually I would like to add that narcotics have a physically addictive nature so when you wake up sick the first thing ya think about is how crappy you feel. It seems like Russel is on the right track. Please encourage him to do the icy bath with you Titus because that will help his brain reset how he gets dopamine naturally!!
