Thanksgiving is a time to feel grateful. But that attitude of gratitude can go away as soon as we're done with the turkey. How do we keep it going?
Saint Paul tells us to "give thanks in all circumstances." Because real gratitude is more than a feeling. As we see in the Parable of the Rich Fool, it starts with remembering one crucial thing.

I love how Christians on the other side of the world follow the same liturgical cycle we do here, and heard the same Scripture reading yesterday (the parable of the rich landowner). A beautiful reminder of how the Divine Liturgy transcends space and time. Glory to God.

Every night in my prayers I thank God for my blessings both good and those that seem not so good! Also as a child I started to make everyone around the table say what they were thankful for and my father got a little grumpy one year. My mother said Kerry this is a nice thing so answer her hahaha!

Let's look at it another way: how many adults fully realize what's happening to them in baptism? We don't need to be able to understand God for Him to act in our lives.

When you have any fear especially fear of death you are telling the Lord that you do not trust him! Trust in the Lord and they will be no fear. :-)

why do you call Easter Paskha? :) would english speaking people understand, do they use this word?

Great question! Pascha is actually the Greek word for Passover. Because the Lord's resurrection is the fulfillment of Passover and Israel's deliverance. Whatever we call it, that's the point people need to see: that Easter is actually the new Passover (as the hymns of Pascha say, again and again).

Whats are your views on the Syrian Malankara Orthodox Church in India? Are they the same?

This is something theologians have been talking about for quite some time. Some of the things we disagree on may not actually be real disagreements, but rather misunderstandings. So right now, no, Malankara Orthodox aren't part of the Church. But that may change in the years/decades ahead. God willing.
