when I hold CTRL it wont move the whole star at once its only letting me move one of the corners of the star. Do I have a setting off I should have on

That means you only have one point selected, you should select all the points of the star!

It’s vector so it doesn’t really matter, but in Photoshop I usually work in 3000x3000 pixels with either 72 dpi or 300 dpi depending on wether my work is for print or screens
