Although it is quite obvious that Chinatsu and Taiki are going to be together, that their romance is unique and special and that it even transcends the concept of romance itself because Taiki and Chinatsu improve individually thanks to each other.

To be there for each other when they're down, to revel in each person's own victories. Sure, Blue Box might not do anything new, but it does it in such a wholesome manner, where communication is key and misunderstandings are kept to realistic standards.

Dude, Haryu is actually goated in EVERY sense of the word, and he only gets better. Really glad to see them appreciate him right off the bat. I think the best part about Blue Box is how genuine all the characters are, it gives me massive Haikyu vibes. It'd be so easy to tell the stereotypical story of jealousy and pointless drama with Haryu trying to get in Taiki's way at every step, but Haryu right from the off genuinely likes Taiki and just wants to see him improve. And that's the vibe of just... the SHOW, not any one character. Take Taiki after he loses the first set to Haryu, they even take the time to point out how natural it'd be for him to be depressed he's losing to 'his romantic rival', but that never even occured to Taiki. His immediate response is, "Wasn't that last point really close???" and starts figuring out ways to improve. I remember reading this for the first time and slowly falling in love with Taiki's character in the same way I grew to love Hinata's in Haikyu; there's something so inspiring about seeing someone just do everything they can to be positive towards the sport they love. They fail sometimes, stumble and get distracted, but their simple desire to be better and do right by the sport and the people who help them improve is really awesome to read/watch!
