I'm current with the manga, but the anime does such a good job that it doesn't even matter if I've seen it or not. This episode nearly had me crying like Sheera. Deku vowing that Muscular would not take one more step past him, then getting crushed and frantically apologizing to his Mom and calling out to All Might as he feels himself fade away with tears in his own eyes. It was crazy intense. If the intro is any indication of what material they plan to cover for the season, it is only gonna get more wild from here, and I can't wait.

It really is. For me, BHA actually benefits from being in anime form overall, which is the rare case. I say this because the the VAs and animation team are on point with this show, and they even put in some extra bits that enhance the story. I think that scene where Endeavor was fighting that Nomu was an anime only piece, and I'm pretty sure Tsuyu's internship adventure was also anime only. But yeah. Hearing these talented actors put so much into these characters, and watching these fight scenes move so beautifully make watching after reading a whole new experience. And I only read at first because I didn't have faith that there was going to be another season (which is how it usually goes), let alone coming this far.

my hero acedamia is one of the best anime because of 1 the art style is amazing 2 the characters each get their own time to shine and every single one of them have amazing character development 3 the battles are drawn so well and its almost all hand drawn 4 the cgi used blends so well together its almost unnoticeable 5 they leave almost no cliff hanger and dont try to extend it for more money 6 you can relate to at least 1 character and every character is interesting to watch. literally one of the best anime that exists currently. i can see them having at least 12 seasons if done right. and a few movies too. to be honest i would love to see a movie with the season 2 ending that shows the whole medieval age theme.
