Don’t forget that the Shiganshina District was evacuated the day before (since the original military plan was to demonstrate a test run of the Rumbling, using just the Wall Titans contained around Shiganshina). That’s why there’s thankfully been no civilian casualties so far. And basically the reason why Zeke didn’t jump down is because he needed the high ground in order to protect Eren with covering fire (while also thinning out the Marleyan forces). And for those curious this episode adapted the remaining content of chapters 117 and 118 (the last chapter of volume 29), and the first two pages of chapter 119. The next episode will start adapting chapters from volume 30.

Attack on Titan is just so good, though I personally did not like the ending in the manga. But realizing the fact that this show tells us that there are no sides, no villains, no heroes, everything in this anime is our own fantasy and imagination. And it depends whether we side on one or the other, realizing those factors tells me that AoT is not some mid anime, it's an art of a master.

The point of attack on Titan is the fact that there is no heroes or villains, just a bunch of people making decisions as they see fit when under extreme circumstances and it is the nature of these people that make the show so good. For example, eren is no hero, his deeds are not admirable, yet he is not no villain either. Eren if put in any extreme circumstance would take the same drastic measures because that is what drives him as Kenny said everyone has to be high on something to keep pushing, and eren is high on a twisted idea of freedom. In s1 when armin shows eren that book that is when eren stops being bored with life. It’s because he has something to fight for. His freedom. He doesn’t want to see the ocean and all the other natural wonders in the world. He simply wants to stop being chained down, he wants to fight against those chains until there no longer is any. He is not noble, he is not doing this because he has to he is doing it because he wants to. That is who eren is currently in s4 and has been since ep 1 of s1 he has never changed and never will.

@@tgburn6984 Probably not even the Attack Titan tbh. It's got insane durability and stamina, but there's no feasible way for it to compete against the Beast at long range. The Warhammer and Founding could definitely compete though for obvious reasons.

@@MandatoryFruit spoiler: Attack Titan can see the future and can control it's past. So attack Titan can find a way to defeat beast Titan. Eren is still alive because of that.

@@tgburn6984 That's not really how that works. The Attack Titan can't really choose which memories it sees. I don't doubt that the Attack Titan could beat the Beast Titan, like Eren would annihilate Zeke in a fist fight, but at long range I don't see the Attack Titan being able to do much.
