Spitting nothing but facts! I’ve given men a chance to give less, trying to be reasonable or giving in to the manipulation of “it’s hard out here” or “you make more, so pay more.” And the relationships don’t work, it’s not a balanced dynamic. The man is frustrated and angry, the woman is overworked and tired. I was married about 5 years, that’s how long I tried so called “50/50.” I worked everyday, I cooked, cleaned, wifely duties and gave everything, until I couldn’t. On top of that, my ex was abusive mentally and emotionally because of his shortcomings and about what I was too exhausted to keep giving.

No it wasnt, according to u, u gave everything and he didn't give much, so bcuz u loved him u allowed him to give the bare minimum, ok understood, that's not 50/50, u say u were being reasonable, an amazing way of thinking, so many ppl aren't reasonable with what they require, that man u chose wasn't the right one to be that way with, seems like he took advantage of your feelings and manipulated u, probably inconsiderate AF too, yeah I've been there lol, I don't know the specifics of the relationship obviously so i can't give a more accurate assessment, but again that wasn't 50/50, 50/50 is when BOTH of u are doing things to make each other's life easier, 2 ppl can lift 3 times the load of 1 person, sharing the burden, life is truly hard out here, both ppl have to pull their weight to survive bcuz not everyone is going to make 6 figures and live stress free, why put all the financial stress on one person? You’re spitting facts as well! I’ve tried to be patient with a 50-50 (60-40, 70-30)partner, I shared my home my car even took on the bulk of responsibility. I was patient, communicative, and understanding. (even tried to inspire him, believe in his goals and potential). I received in return no growth from him. He stayed stagnant riding my coattail. In his mind, I was a great leader, and was good at it. So that became my role, and he walked behind me. In return I was miserable, and unfulfilled on so many levels. It’s sad that men don’t wanna hear the truth. Instead they think we’re being mean and name-calling. We’re not saying you have to pay 100%, but being a leader/provider means your women can trust on many levels. It will unlock great peace and pride for a man.
