I was having a great time at Clifton Beach meeting the locals, however, towards the end a particular individual did make the experience not very pleasant which was a shame but I wont let this experience get to me in the future, but as I was on my own I felt it was best for me to leave after it happened.

The sad thing is alot of Karachi police are on a rip tip too, I remember in 2018 when I was there on Clifton beach and I was with 2 of my aunties that were from Karachi and me and my niece from UK, we were in a van and we had our suitcases too because after abit of a chill on Clifton beach we were all heading to Rawalpindi/Islamabad, they made us pull over and they were letting other cars through and we'd seen them trying to get money out of guys that were in the car infront of us, they started demanding we open the suitcases but I knew they were only trying to stress us so they can try getting money out of us, I actually told them straight that they are rishwat khor which means bribers lol they didn't like it and they kept saying they won't let us go until they check the suitcases, had us there like 10/15 minutes and luckily a police women pulled over too in a police car and she was there senior sergeant, she spoke really good English and when I told her what I thought of them cops that pulled us over she had a smirk on her face but she got out and told them in Urdu to let us go lol one of the male cop that was stood with our van driver was saying to our van driver that he will break the padlock on the suitcase if we don't open it and I walked over to the van and jumped in and shut the door and he got a stick out and was about to start hitting the van with the stick and I said to him that women police officer is calling you, he stopped and let us go 😂
