I have a 101e a 101ee and a 101b here in California also have an unused scope and external speaker wish I could find a reputable person to work on them my e is set up for 11 meter was my normal am radio to talk on with a golden falcon tube amp

I think you will find some Ft101’s came from factory with the Crystals for CB.

seen a lot with 11m on the band switch, but do you know if they ever factory fitted aux position with 27mhz? Very interesting history for sure..

maybe for a first radio, something a bit more stable may be desirable, but you can get a huge amount of joy out of the very famous FT101 series of radios. I always think the Icom IC7300 for $1600 aud is a perfect first time radio, just feature packed and not expensive. cheers Brenton VK3CM

Hi 73’s my friend. I have an FT-101E that is my baby. I also have a YC-601 without the cable to connect and with the very common LCD Tube ic failure on 2 out of 3 ic’s. I was wondering if you can sell me a working 601 with cable. Thanks.
