Not sure why but I just went through and setup everything and I am not hearing anyone in any room I see my computer turn green when I transmit and I hear nothing back or hear any chatter from anyone else talking

You know the little tabs at the top of the pi star turn green (from red) indicating that it is working

@@davidhughes1275 The sub-channel volume knob is inactive if the AESS (audio equalizer) is on. The main channel volume knob controls both the main and sub-channel volume together when AESS is active.

Do I need to first physically connect my radio to a PC to register before I can use a pi-star hotspot. I have registered on wires x but both my Node ID number and Room Number remain blanking stating I must set up software
