These are cracking sets but do not support AIS...they *do* support ATIS but this is quite different.

I adjusted the squelch to the first bar but the RX symbol goes away, does that mean that I wont be able to communicate at all or is that normal? I just adjusted it so i dont hear the static, thanks.

did you enter your boat mmsi, if you enter it wrong or its already registered to another boat, i think you have to send the radio in so they can factory reset it
