why do they never block lows? i know mids are stronger but it seems like they dont even try to block most lows

You already know the reason. Mids are very strong : launchers, engagers, etc. + Side steps are more effective for launching, so that means some lows are negligible.

Depends on the speed and if it's seeable low. Hellsweep is 16 frames so that's not reactable without a hard read. Dragunov d2 is unseeable as well. It's not smart to just hard duck in this game.

Lows arent supposed the be blocked. It was easily blocked in tekken 7 because mids were generally weaker and lows were blocked on instinct. but tekken 8, most mids have extensions like reinas df1,2 heat dash. Its just not worth it
