Amen! Yah hear my prayers! Please pray for me. Prayers all we need truly need in this world. My husband passed away years ago. I’m a single mother. I feel so alone. I have two beautiful sons, both of my sons are autistic. I’m just overwhelmed. Heavenly Father I know you don’t give us no more than we can handle. But Lord have mercy on me. I need a breakthrough. Since covid I can’t seem to get back on my feet. I was fired from my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my lupus and I also have a heart condition. I’m waitressing but not making nearly enough. Every month is a struggle not to end up on the streets with my children. I’m struggling putting groceries in my refrigerator. Struggling to pay rent. But, thankfully God has provided this far. I know and have faith he will continue. Faith over fear. We should praise God even in hard times. I love you Jesus! Thank you Heavenly Father.

Would you consider making a video explaining why it's acceptable for our Jewish brothers and sisters to deny the resurrection of Christ, but we Christians aren't allowed to deny specific sacred Jewish historical events? I was just talking about this in a chat. The shemhamphorash is the 72 letter name of God. Each angels name in the shemhamphorash either ends in El or YHW. Interestingly enough all the old testament characters also have this distinction such as DaniEl or IsaYHW- Isaiah, yeremYHW- Jeremiah etc etc...

Dr. Brown, I believe the name of Jesus is the name of God that He promised to reveal when He said “therefore my people shall know my name” (Isaiah 52:6). It is the one name of Zechariah 14:9 that encompasses and includes all the other names of God within its meaning. Jesus fulfills all the eleven compound names of Jehovah. His name is the culmination of all the Old Testament names of God. A bit of example, when Hosea 13:4 stated “Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.” Similarly we can also see in Isaiah 43:11. I don't enjoy debating people over names, like the "Messiah" or the "Almighty". But, as a Hebrew teacher this is something I would like to pass on. Nehemiah Gordon is a true Hebrew scholar and translator of the Dead Sea Scrolls. He discussed about a recent discovery of the Hebrew name of "God" that was recently discovered in Egypt. It was on a Hebrew parchment from the 900s. And, it has the vowels (Nikkud) showing how to speak the name of G-d. Keep in mind, the Masorites who added the vowels were a group that spent all their time studying Hebrew and were very knowledgable in Classical Hebrew. They pronounced it as: YEH-HO-VAH, very similar to the King James Bible version (If you used the correct "Y" instead of "J").

I recently ran into some disturbing work on KZbin from scholars claiming that the Caanites had a similar in name, but overall lesser in authority, god in their pantheon by the name of Yahweh. The claim is that ancient Israelites, upon inhabiting the land of Caanan, they would absorb this lesser god into their jewish religion and eventually produce a single (G)od in the YHWH we know today. That claim has been around a while. As I recall, it's based on a "similar" name (as you said), but hinges entirely on assuming there is no contextual way to know why God gave His name as Yahweh, but the first time the name was ever given (In Exodus 3) gives the needed context. "I Am that I Am, tell them I Am sent you." Yahweh literally just means "The Existing One."

I think that it is important to note that Moses utilized God 's Name even in Genesis (as we can read it written as LORD in the English language Bible), so we can infer that this was always God's Name, and not something that would be added on to Jewish cannon later on since Caanite civilization is vastly outdated by the events depicted throughout the majority of the Torah. Even further still as, of course, as Genesis depicts the very foundation of the Earth we also see here that God is referred to as LORD (Tetragrammaton). I would go with Nehemiah over Dr Brown. Nehemiah's scholarly study far exceeds Dr Brown's. Here Nehemiah is the expert. Not sure how much you have seen of Hebrew Voices, but Nehemiah talks about the painstaking task of proofing hewbrew manuscripts for errors that scribes may have made. Also scribes intentionally shortened the full name into the tetragram to save space since everyone already knew who they were talking about anyway. Kind of like FPS if your a gamer. First Person Shooter or Frames Per Second. It depends on the context of the other words as to what it's supposed to be.

It is Saturday and it is an issue based on your conscience because Jesus is the true sabbath according to Hebrews read Hebrews and you will see what I am talking about. Also if you read Colossians it says not to let anyone judge you based on new moons or sabbaths and people will try to make up their way around it saying you have to but Paul and the others are very clear it’s a conscience thing, as Jesus Yeshua is our Sabbath rest, He said Himself “Come to me all you who are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” So if you go into Jesus Yeshua as your rest then that’s all you need. Now if anyone says Sunday is the “new sabbath” there is no proof of that nor is their proof it would change rather it is the day the Lord Jesus resurrected which is why we hold fast to our faith. I meet with other believers on any day I get the chance doesn’t matter if it is Saturday or Sunday, it could be Tuesday and I wouldn’t mind the important part is the gathering together. For people say the early believers gathered on any specific day repeatedly don’t understand the scriptures nor history because they were constantly having to leave from place to place and move here and there so they met when they were able to meet. If you choose to observe the sabbath then that is an amazing choice and may the Lord Jesus Christ be with you in that decision but it has nothing to do with gathering together but instead setting aside that day to spend with God and not work but instead rest with the Lord. I myself have a job that only lets me work Tuesday through Saturday and as Paul said whoever does not work should not eat so I work to live and I rest in Jesus Yeshua the Lord and source of my life! I have a question brother. My pastor said he does not believe in 24-hour day Creation. How important is this issue? How I feel, is that it is very clear, Exodus 20:11 God tells us he created the earth in 6 days. So when a pastor wants to say something different I feel they cast doubt on the word of God. This name “Jesus” is a Latin transformation of the name original Latin name of “Iesus”, as can be seen in the 1611 English KJV where we find the name "Iesus". There is a difference in spelling and pronunciation (Jesus=gee-sus) and (Iesus=ee-sus). Iesus comes from the Greek Iesous. Iesous is a transliteration of Yeshua, an Aramaic name. Here is the Problem, the apostle Peter stated: "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). The question is, what is the by which we must be saved? So which name is the one name revealed from heaven? Is it Jesus, Iesus, or Iesous? The answer is None of these names. The quote being referenced is a commentary on how Samaritans in the 4th Century AD pronounced the divine name. However, according to Josephus, the Samaritans converted to paganism and named their temple after the Greek gods to appease Antiochus Epiphanes. I replied with this comment to someones post and thought it would be helpful to others on the channel so here it is again... I would go with Nehemiah over Dr Brown as Nehemiah Gordon's scholarly study far exceeds Dr Brown on this topic. Here Nehemiah is the expert and if your dont know who he is, his Channel is Nehemiah's Wall and on his show Hebrew Voices Nehemiah discusses the painstaking task of proofing hewbrew manuscripts for errors that scribes may have made. Through this process he found how G-d's name had been altered over time. I'm not sure if Nehemiah said this, but scribes were know to have intentionally shortened the full name into the tetragram to save space since everyone already knew who they were talking about anyway.
