I agree, at first I was sceptical but surprisingly a lot of the content I found on KZbin shorts weren’t that bad, hell some of the funny shorts actually made me laugh, so compared to tik tok it’s not as bad, plus actual content creators can use KZbin shorts as a way of showing very memorable clips from their videos without making viewers scroll back a forth on the video to find the time stamp of when it happened.

KZbin short is a waste of time and resources. We already have TikTok for these small bites of content and KZbin doesn't need that (even though people these days have an attention span of 3 seconds before they click off lol). It's also stupid how TikTok decided to add 10 minute videos (even the 3 minutes is too much.) Another thing that sucks with this short based content is that if you get a one hit wonder and get a viral video you'll be remembered for like a week and then completely forgotten.

lemme explain ok so basically theres a guy with friends that creates channels and gives his friends perms to do stuff on the channel. they're abusing the shorts algorithm by spam uploading the same video over and over again. the shorts algorithm shows a video on the scrolling line the more viewtime is on the video. they do the same video over and over again until they're eligible for a checkmark (). they change the channel's name to something simple (usually a single word or sub bait), then request a checkmark. when they got the checkmark, they change their pfp to the mr beast logo and start stealing comments from people usually for clout. tbh im not sure if there are multiple people that are doing this or if the guy switched to botting (which would be a pretty smart decision) alt method: they scam people's channels that have checkmarks, change their name, request the checkmark again, change the pfp. hide/delete all of the videos, start uploading the stolen shorts and also comment. they usually upload the stolen (same type) shorts on those channels, too
