I teach computer network/security topics. Students are asking whether there will be entry level jobs for them. Given that we have succeeded in automating things such as password resets and basic self healing systems/networks, it is a legitimate concern. My answer has been that 1) they didn't really want to reset passwords for a living and 2) they should be preparing themselves for 2nd tier challenges in order to be successful in an entry level job. Of course, the bigger question is about how we train all kinds of entry level employees once automation/Machine learning/AI has consumed all menial tasks. Some of those menial tasks become the insight needed for advanced skillsets.
