Richard Sherman went to a division rival out of spite for Seahawks releasing him, he didn't get booed! Russ did! Broncos paid him, but he didn't earn 99% of what he got! Then Russ intentionally screws over the team that gave him said contract, by signing the league minimum! It does increase his shot at a Superbowl, but I find it unlikely he ever wins another! Everyone agrees the offensive line, coaching, and situation in general was terrible, and that was not his fault. Wilson’s second season was under NEW ownership, and coaching staff with ZERO loyalty or regard for him. They actually tried to screw him out what was previous negotiated, and even benched him two games over not capitulating… It is unfair to blame Wilson for their Machiavellian dealings. Plus they are the ones who released him, and then spread the rumour he was not smart enough to handle the complex play calling. Wilson, one of the few players in the NFL whom has a Master’s Degree. Playing for the league minimum was the smartest move for him if he wants to play NOW. Everyone in the world knew the cap hit was at the Broncos expense. Why would any team voluntarily absorb a cost they did not have to, NO organization was that stupid… The Giants who are a mess, Falcons just hired a new coach, and Raiders had not settled on their coach, all showed interest in his services, The Steelers wasted ZERO time, and was the only organization between them all that had a stable situation, and signed him immediately… As for his Super Bowl prospects; He is more likely NOW, than in the past three seasons to actually achieve it… At Pittsburgh, Tomlin is a coach who has never had a losing season, with more success than Sean Payton when it comes to Super Bowls, and with equal success of Pete Carroll… The Steelers defense is far better than the Broncos and Seahawks currently. The receiving corps has a legitimate 1000 yard receiver, while the rest matchup favourably with the Broncos. Their running back squad has a bonafide 1000 yard rusher, and a the RB2 gained as much yardage as the Broncos RB1. Even the tight Ends are better. The Steelers literally revamped the offense around WIlson, and his situation is arguably better than his Super Bowl campaigns in Seattle… 🤔

@@Shawndaniel7710 i just think he has lost to much of his step to be a real contender for mvp. he might be able to get most improved. but 35 years old (russ's age) is usually when you'll start to see a decline in qbs that noticeable, and seeing as we have already seen that decline i'm guessing it's only gonna get worse. i do think he'll have a better year then he did with the broncos though. i just don't think it'll be anything more then that

Two different teams and 12 years in, guy has had a bad line every single year? No. Watch and see. He will take at least 50 sacks next year, if he plays all season.

Sweezy was traded for a bag of chips but the rest were converted basketball players or scrubs because Schneider the GM and his scouts don’t know how to scout OL. Others were free agents brought in at the end of their careers. They actually tried for a stretch of about four years they drafted 14 lineman and two made the roster. It appears they would just let him run out of trouble for a decade.

There's no defensive pressure on you in practice like there is in a real game. It does not emulate a real environment you can't sit there dancing around like that you'll get sacked QUICK and your wide receiver cannot wait that long either without getting smothered by defense. If these worthless drills meant anything quarterbacks would all know how to get themselves out of the pocket without ever getting sacked which is NOT the truth in real games except with the EXCEPTIONALLY good QBs who really know how.

His body has gotten too old and broken for that. There's a reason he doesn't like to run as much anymore. He's gotten beaten up those last 6 years in Seattle thanks to him being their whole offense since he RB corp could never stay healthy. And he's played injured most of his career because he never missed a game until 2021. His mobility days are over. He needs to play for a team that's actually gonna get him better protection and a decent enough run game to set up the play action which he's a master of.
