So I did a bit of a Google, there were two versions of Normality. There was the self published version by Gremlin Graphics that we're watching now that features British voice actors which was released in PAL regions (UK, Australia and New Zealand), and then there was one published by Interplay which had a totally different voice actors for the American audience that features Corey Feldman. So that's why Cunt Squared doesn't sound very Feldmany Gabe.

Personally, I watch these videos twice - once to watch what's going on in the game and pay attention to the talking and stuff, and once with my eyes closed so I can listen solely to Yahtzee and Gabe without getting distracted by the game. You really can't do both at once, and the two separate sides of the experience are equally amusing in their own right - I highly recommend it. :)

I always feel like interjecting in the conversations this two are having, as if they where my friends that are with me. But i just find it a shame i can't bring up my points to them in real time. Like how the Hitler sit-com might have not been that good of an idea because of how obvious the jokes would probably be.

I agree with Yahtzee in that instance, its only joke really is the title of the show itself. I don't really think it would be a good idea to create a sympathetic Hitler. Downfall did it well to a decent extent, but I would in no way fault any mainstream production company for not wanting to get involved in a comedy like that.

Personally, I'm more into villains that pretty clearly think they're doing the right thing. A well-intentioned extremist, if you will. Not enough games intentionally give you that guy, has everyone treat him as evil without giving it a second thought, and let you fill in the blanks.

Turns out the GOG.com version is the UK version that doesn't have Corey Feldman. For anybody who cares to do so, the GOG forums has a patch to switch our charismatic protagonist's actor to Corey. If you don't mind playing through Normality yourself that is.

I think I know what Gabe is talking about when he says that this game is suspect and doesn't know it. On a undercurrent level it's getting to be a bit creepy and weird but the game obviously wants you to observe it from a humorous direction. Sort of reminds me of that scene in 40 days and 40 nights where the female antagonist has sex with the protagonist while he's sleeping and they treat the situation like a generic misunderstanding rather than him being a subject of rape.
