YAKARI - EP28 - The talking oak
Yakari is stunned! He knew he could understand the language of the animals, but today he has discovered that the trees speak to him too! He and Little Thunder follow the trees’ directions and end up in a field of stone. The field is made up of petrified trees that Yakari must now take care of. On Great Eagle’s advice, he builds a makeshift lightning rod to protect the stone trees from the bolts raining down from the sky. Later on, he realizes that it was just Restful Rock and prank-loving Buffalo Seed giving voice to the trees. Restful Rock simply wanted to open Yakari’s heart and mind to the ancient trees and to nature.
