They are pretty sweet. I looked on their youtube for how to. Finally found a video of them demoing it at a fishing conference. You need to throw some tags on the video so youtube will promote them. It doesn't seem like they make a difference but over time you will be surprised. 👍

How bad was your camera scratched up during the filming of this vid?

The one on the ground? Not at all. It's in one of those go pro super suits. You're never going to scratch the lens while its in that. It's not exposed.

How does it effect the stability of the yak?

I haven't noticed any kind of stability issue. If you don't tighten down the base enough it can get a little sail effect and move the pole around, but that's my fault. Thanks for tuning in dude.

Does your Boomstick have a lot of play and wobble?

Surprisingly no. If you twist the base down tight it doesn't budge. If you do it incorrectly it will move.
