Bought one because of your review, and have to say, it is exactly as you described. Cheap, but still on par quality-wise with it's way more expensive "US Made" versions. Loving it.

That is absolutely outstanding my friend I am so glad you enjoy it the way that I do. We have been putting this thing through absolute hell for the last month and it's held up exceptionally well.

Will 11" x 14" plates fit in the front and back?

@@wakeupmerica6882 I think it only accepts standard 10/12 plates I have no idea if it would accept those size plates or not I would have to get a tape measure out and find out and I will do that as soon as I can if you request it.

Yeah, if you could, whenever you get a chance, i would surely appreciate it, no rush. I have a spare set of 11x14's and been thinking about setting up a spare rig for a friend. Thanks from a fellow Okie.

@wakeupmerica6882 from what can tell, it will fit, but will be tight. May hang slightly out the bottom, kinda like overhang. But it should by all means fit. I'm not guaranteeing 100%, but it's definitely wide enough.

They sell these on Temu. I have 2 extra sets of plates and was looking for a cheap but not (cheap) playe carrier and saw this one you are showing on Temu for $16.97. I could hardly believe the price. I have been seeing it for a few months now and the reviews on Temu are great. But just figured I'd look on KZbin to see if anyone had done a review on them. Thanks for your video. Already have two carriers, outfitted. Just figured it would be nice to have 2 more just for buddies or family if SHTF.

I was skeptical of buying a plate carrier off of Amazon, but when I got it, it was highly impressive. It fits snug and it covers a good portion of my torso. Field tested it for a weekend and recommended it to my guys so they went out and bought themselves some and now we're going to get plates and go back to the field to torture test it some more.

Also I'm glad that this video was useful to you it's been up for a while and not very many hits so I'm just going to leave it there for those looking at plate carriers that are on a budget.

I just picked one up and the top quick releases on the shoulders are so big they mess with my rifle shoulder, buttstock just rides the quick release did you have this issue ?

Personally, no, I did not have this issue at all. I think, but don't quote me on it, You can get rid of those quick detached buckles and just have the shoulder pads. Another thing you can do is get a small piece of foam. Put over the top of it and then use some 100 mile an hour tape to cover it up. The last option I can possibly think of is adjusting the play carrier to wear rides differently. But honestly, though, you're the first person that I've ever heard of saying that they had an issue with it.

I've had the same issue on similar plate carrier,I took an angle grinder and a dremel and made my self a S hook from a steel plate and repalced the QD with it.Problem solved.

Yes and no. They have separate 6-inch by 8-inch panels that you can buy that attached to the cummerbund. It's more like kidney protectors if you want to go that route. But the plate carrier can somewhat use side plates.
