I love the trailer, but unlike in the video you tighten the nuts onto the bolts not the other way. You should also cross the safety chains so they catch and cradle the trailer tongue and protect it in case it comes off. The way the video shows will drag the trailer and possible cause a lot of damage.

Nice, thanks for posting! I’m looking at putting a roof top tent on one of these. Just wondering how stable it would be, even with the tent kit? Also, how would the shocks respond to all that weight, with people in tent?

Hi, The trailer is very stable with the tent kit, there is virtually no movement with it installed. The EasyRider can hold up to 1100 of static weight, so not an issue for the shocks, just be sure not to exceed the occupied tent weight capacity of 600 lbs for the medium, and 450 fir the small.

Hi, There should not be any issues with that overhang. When deployed the tent typically will overhang much further that.

A 3000 dollar tubular frame trailer is absurd, plus you have to assemble it. not to mention the hundreds of dollars you'll be spending to buy the attachments for your sport of choice. $1500 would have been fair for this. Come on Yakima you're better than that.
