Any reason you went with this over the load warrior? Any pros and cons between the two that you concluded before going with the off grid?

Your basket looks really nice and well made, Yakima is a great brand! I always wonder about how it effects both your gas mileage and wind noise especially with a moon roof! I know the fairing must help out. Lastly the audio was really low like a whisper, really hard to hear. You use to have much better volume. I do not have a hearing problem and I do have the volume maxxed out, Other videos like Ricks are nice and loud and I never have any problems hearing them.

have you noticed gas mileage reduction with the basket? when i installed mine, i noticed, on the highway, I was losing 4 to 5 mpg.

JE Durocher yes sir! I am about 22mpg. Basket with full size spare and led light bar on top. I think it’s still great as we only have to purchase 87.

@@brandonkwong07 well, mine went down with just the basket. the additional tire and wind resistance, yikes :) thanks for the input. i keep mine attached to the cross bars, but off, when not using it. the air noise alone is crazy since i travel back and forth on the hardy every day.

I read online that placing the basket towards the rear will help reduce noise and mpg loss, I just got the basket for the 19 crosstrek. Im going to test it out
