Ahhh, I was gifted an egg cooker for Christmas. I love it, especially for poaching eggs on the weekend and fast-cooking omelets or hard-boiled eggs on weekdays. Everything looks great! And yes, it is okay to overcook things; we all do it! No worries!! Have a good day. We are getting our first significant snowstorm of this year today...(we'll see!)

Thank you for the comment and your egg cooker story! An egg cooker is a great Christmas gift. I hope you have a good day despite the snow :)

Everything you made looks so delish 🤤 I didnt know that Japanese has a dongporou (东坡肉) version (角煮). Thank you for showing easy method of making 3 different onigirazu and also yakitori.

In Japan, there is a spirit of "let's try onigiri with anything that goes well with rice. (Is it just me? (lol) Thanks for the nice comment💛😊

Just found your channel & subscribed! You put a lot of love in you meals and watching is relaxing 😌 tip for using stainless steel pan: heat it up until a drop of water dances on the surface. Having it hot enough will prevent sticking!

I wish american grocery stores would cut meat the same way as Japan. Everything you made looks so good. I never made Shumai at home. I always buy frozen or from restaurants. I am going to make shumai'very soon.❤
@alliswell.s9 күн бұрын
I was surprised😳 It is difficult to cut it by yourself. The original shumai is a steamed dish, but it is also delicious grilled. Please give it a try. Thanks for the nice comment❤️

Hi Shizuku sang! I found your channel just now. I I am so excited about your cooking and recipe. I subscribe and set alarm. I am from New Zealand. On thing I can share with you re Stainless pan. Put at lest 5mins for heating then you can put some water then the water drops rolling like a ball( Marcury Ball) then it is ready to use without stuck. You can use stainless pan like coated pan. Try!!! and let me know. ❤ Your cooking is so enjoyable and looks so delicious!! Your diligence for prepare bento is great!!!
I always enjoy watching your videos. please keep it up! I also have a question, what can I substitute mirin and sake with when trying to make your recipes? i can't consume them for religious reasons
@jjadac352915 күн бұрын
Typically when I substitute Sake, I just use beef or chicken broth with 1/4 teaspoon of sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of rice vinegar. Though for Mirin, I just advise cutting the measurement in half while you substitute it for Apple Cider Vinegar. Hope this helps you very much :)

@alliswell.s15 күн бұрын
It's the Japanese version of adobo. It is a very similar dish, but I did not use vinegar. Next time I will try to make it closer to adobo by adding vinegar 😊😊😊
