exactly this series is honesty better in so many aspects than GTA. better characters and story. a greater number of minigames and sidemissions . and the beautiful city lights. and the morals and values it upholds like never attack civilians and such while GTA is basically a glorified crime and murder simulator

One of the best game series in history. I was not familiar with the yakuza games past this summer. So when psn had the Japan month , i picked this up because it looked like a Japanese GTA game. Boy was I wrong, this game is a master piece, pure art with huge game content and an amazing story that will put Oscar winning movies to shame. I spent 170+ hours to complete 100% and it feelt completely satisfying doing so. With this game I learned some Japanese words, mahjong, koi koi, Japanese culture and much more. I give this game 10/10. I can't wait for Yakuza kiwami. I hope they make a remake for all the games in the series.

Afaik after Yakuza 0 he had a wife. Majima is still very sane. For example the reason why he chases Kiryu around in Kiwami 1 was that he wanted to keep Kiryu on his toes and to build back his strength.
