I did every single one and they were all worth it for the cutscenes alone. They’re also AMAZINGLY powerful to use and I got ALL of the revelations in the later games because of how good THESE ones were to begin with, the panty one in 4 and Haruka’s in 5 being the more notable ones. Just another reason as to why I love these games!

Oh, i just thought of it, but it would’ve been so cool if they added different moves depending on what you put for the blog. Like, depeding on what you’d say, you would either get a revelation of a new combo finisher, a defense move against certain situations, like against weapons or if grabbed or knocked down, or special heat moves. What they have now is still good, and the revelation clips are still fun, but that little detail would’ve made such a big difference in fights.

@@r8_the_moo I don't mind it every so often, but it gets really off-putting the more I hear & see it, especially in Yakuza 5 where it's so much more prominent during the text-based cutscenes. Like, it's so often in that game I see the text much shorter or longer than the dialogue, and the dialogue much shorter or longer than the text, so I end up reading too slow or too fast at times.

If you select a wrong one, Kiryu will just put his phone away. You can try again if you reload the area (enter/exit a building) and the revelation spot will reset
