You make this look easy! I was dreading this battle even before it started, judging how Komaki would always wipe the floor with me in previous games, and how I'm terrible at landing Tiger Drop.

+Ninkyo893 Yeah, these guys at the same times makes their combos far more dangerous then usual! Learning the Tiger Drop more effectively will make Komaki much, much easier. You'll notice when he walks forward, he'll often do a quick forward dash, and almost always follows up with the shoulder ram. Look for that move to Tiger Drop, it's like Bald Bull in Mike Tysons Punch Out or something

Jimmyqballs I do kinda wish the buttons were mapped differently in this game for certain moves, such as Tiger Drop. Often times in regular fights or the arena, I'll end up using a Heat action or a Climax when I don't want to.

+Ninkyo893 This fight was by FAR the toughest in the game so far. I've been playing since RGG3, but I can't do the Tiger Drop reliably. So I had each character eat two Strength-increasing meals. Leveling Akiyama's hammer skill to level four was quickly done. And equipped all of them in turn with ten warning singns and laid waste to the Komakis. Serves them right for being so impossible for me to defeat!

Man, am i the only one who wishes they included Sosuke as a playable character in a yakuza game? Just beacuse he and Kiryu are trained in the same martial art doesnt mean they would have the exact same move set.

I wouldn't say Komaki is a fighting stlye, more of a set of moves created to improve your fighting. Kiryu's style: Street Fighter, refined, and with Komaki moves.

Just takes practice, you have to make sure you press Triangle right before you are attacked! Keep practicing, I spent a lot of time mastering it

I take it you're pretty early in the game? Well, the BEST way to make BIG money is with Baccarat, I forget if you can access it at the point you're at in the game. I made a tutorial video on how to make big money in Yakuza 5, it is THE way to make the big bucks. Otherwise, if you go around town and beat up some dudes, you might get a gold or platinum plate, and you can pawn them at Ebisu Pawn. Let me know if that works out.

+youngstert You need to have paid Sosuke the money he needed in Kiryu's town, then he goes to Kamurocho later in the game. If you go to the Ryugojo with Kiryu, you'll meet Sosuke and his grandfather Komaki. You can start a chain of events and he can raise your level to 25.
