I like this one better because it's about Shinada proving himself to Daigo, they aren't fighting for power or honor, rather Shinada is fighting over something far more sentimental, his life story, one he would prefer to write (And what do you know he is a journalist). His sentimentally for his baseball career is one of the big themes of his arc, the other protagonists *usually* have very angry songs to depicting how their main goal is to bash the others face in, it's a breath of fresh air that he doesn't want that for most of his boss encounters. It also fits the main theme of the game, dreams.

@@Rare_R2 yeah there are a few instances in these games where the original licensed music is equally as good as the replacement music which is impressive. Most times i still prefer the original, but parts like the Yakuza 0 intro, THAT scene from yakuza 3, and this work just as good both ways I'd say the yakuza 4 intro too but butterfly city is one of my favorite intro themes in the franchise just cause of how dumb it is, plus for faith doesnt have the lyrics in the english version

It's not whether the western version was worse or not, but why it was there in the first place. Licensing issues are hellish to go through. Don't blame the western release for doing what it could to get the game overseas.
