I was playing on normal the first time I picked this game up and this boss fight made me drop the game for a while. I lost so many times. Of course, I didn’t realize that you could have Eri on your party for this fight so once I did that I was able to beat it.

The game recommends that your characters be around level 70 before starting it. For reference, Hard mode recommends level 50 characters.

I'm about halfway through a legend game with lvl73-4 characters. Most attacks will do about 75%-100% of a character's life, and you have to be very careful about how you play. Overall, it's a nice challenge but it can feel a bit overwhelming at times. Looks like it's trivial at lvl99 though.

Tips for this boss fight. Have Saeko or Eri be an idol. This is so essential because you can unlock a healing skill that heals the whole party. Alternatively have ICHIBAN be a hero to have the heal. The reason this is important is because of Joon Gi Hans divine shot which if not careful can one shot your whole party or deal tons of damage. Another bit of advice is to be at least level 22-25 so as to have enough stats to survive the fight. Be sure to level and have gear to the point of being prepped (similar to the later SPOILER boss fight where you need to level up a bit before fighting him) Thirdly play the business mini game until at least rank 100 in the company to unlock ERI because having a 4th party member is outright mandatory for some parts of the game until you get Nanba back. (As in makes the game’s mini bosses easier) Another bit of advice is have items from the shop that can remove debuffs such as bleed and stun and even poison. Since he has several moves that apply the debuffs Lastly above all else play it carefully and ensure you’re dealing as much damage as possible for the most efficient amount of mana.

If you go through "Copy-Han's" (Rockman Zero ref.) drink talk, you learn why Yeonsu Kim ended up like that; also, tons of people already guessed the body double angle anyway b/c they've seen/read/watched other fictional works that gone through said route. Another thing, the Y7 discussions (mainly the NA ones) assumed that Y7 will be people's 1st RGG entry as to avoid spoiling stuff- dumb I know but it's a common strategy.

In the case of the character costumes, they literally ripped the body models of existing characters and just put them on Ichi and his friends. That's 15 bucks, please! Or hey! How about 15 bucks for some fucking songs to listen to in the bar?
