Yale Assure Lock 2 vs Schlage Encode: Best Smartlock for AirBNB

I disagree. The Schlage encode has a manufacturer defect that allows moisture penetration into the lock and will cause the lock to malfunction and then quit working altogether. Both locks allow you to add multiple key managers for co-hosts which is nice, however the yale integrates directly with Airbnb without the need for a 3rd party property management company to assign key codes, and has proven to be more durable in my opinion.

This happened to me with the Schlage encode… it was a terrible experience with my petsitter locked inside the condo.definitely an overhyped lock. wish I read this comments earlier.

Which PMS system/software company allows you to use the last four digits of an AirBnb renter and send an automatic update, I'm not finding who does this, help please?

I believe the Yale lock (don’t know about the Schlage) has an integration directly with Airbnb

Yale hands down since it’s synced and automated with Airbnb. Application platform is also better

I am having issue with this program: it deleted code day early living my guests locked out in the middle of the night. Guesty dosn't do any support, many glitches all over- I am used guesty for host and looking for better alternative

Isn't schledge a better lock from a safety perspective? I think they're all an ansi 1

Don't know, but I was told you can't use schlage encode in an apartment because it's not rated for safety, you have to upgrade to schlage omni (?) which has a fire rating
