thanks! i came in thinking astrophysics but that has (tentatively) changed to double major of film and media studies and something else (astronomy? english? who knows)

@@RisIgrec ahh rip, I know that struggle too well myself. Was thinking maths/physics and jumped ship to english despite being intrigued by stem. The fact that I couldn't shake off the creative bug heavily contributed. I was worried that if I did go into something as intense as maths/physics I'd have very little time for my creative pursuits. Definitely double if you can cause there's not too much to be gained from having a lot of unrelated electives. Yale is amazing for english and writing (if you're into it) but I'm sure you already know this. :)

Micha i totally feel that! in my astronomy class i found myself wishing i could be doing something creative which was a big red flag for me

@@RisIgrec Yeah pretty much exactly that. It's a bit annoying there's a stigma around the liberal arts but stem would do very little for something like dramatic writing or theatre compared to English. I imagine it would be a tougher decision to make if I had to consider the burden of excessive student loans though. I really feel for you guys over in the US.
