it's not even the fact he's a rapper, it's just the joke become overused in time and becomes less funny. Every once in a while it's fine, but with it being in EVERY rap video, it's dull and not too funny anymore. It's just more "creative" of how he tries to do it now

To this day, I'll still say without a doubt Dende vs Baby Yoda was SSJ's best. He hasn't even come close to touching the rhyme and flow of that video. And yeah, the dissing of the x character's girl got old, really fast.

I recently just rewatched Scru"s reaction to Naruto vs Goku which I believe was his first SSJ9k reaction. That battle still had a lot of smashing yo girl jokes but they were crafted a lot more cleverly and thoughtfully. “Chaos control that coochie” just makes no sense. Also I feel there was a better balance between the smash yo girl bars, the flex bars, and the threatening your opponent bars. Like when was the last time he mentioned ki blasts, zeni, or senzu beans? These were staples of the series but they’ve just disappeared. P.S. I think a video ranking all of SSJ9k’s battles would be pretty cool.

I feel like some people don't get your issue, it's less that SSJ is using the "I smashed your girl line" it's more that those bars aren't creative enough and sometimes they feel like they have better structure than the other bars, look at Dende vs Baby Yoda, Scru loved that one and it included a "I smashed your girl" bar in it, Tournament of B.A.R.S was good and personal favourite of mine is Piccolo vs Kami. It's not the "I smashed your girl" it's that the whole thing feeling like I smashed your girl is one of the highlights without anything topping it.

Ngl Scru got me laughin as much as SSJ9K do in these videos lol because even though I personally dont mind the smash your girl jokes as long as he finds new creative ways to do it [7/10 times he does imo] and the comedys on point which seems to be his focus for these videos more so than the raps then I still enjoy his videos, but I can also understand how it can be frustrating for Scru who knows SSj can do better [we've all seen what hes really capable of when he tries] but I genuinely do think this was one of the better ones as of recent, Im hoping part 3 is where he really elevates the bars cuz he and Sonic are both super now sooooo heres hoping SSj sees and listens to the constructive criticism and actually bring his A game next time around cuz we all know he got it in him, them Kami, Popo, Dende, and Gary bars did not come outta nowhere.

The funny thing is.. Dragon Ball came out before the Super Sonic transformation.. Because DBZ came out in 1989, Sonic 2 (the game ) came out in 1992. Apparently, the creator of Sonic (who is a fan of the Dragon Ball manga) used references of the Super Saiyan transformation to show homage to DBZ.
